Kaar~ Holding onto the beasts head with all his strength Kaar notices the beast suddenly begin to run as he is lowered into a perfect position to go SPLAT! Placing his sword tip against the skull of the beast Kaar rolls his body so he will be able to hold the sword in place and be only mildly injured by the inevitable collision with the fast approaching wall. I really hope this works. It should drive the blade right through into the brain, and i will definitely need to get my bones in my arm fixed.

Sen, free from the rampaging beast's sight, decided to pull out his greatsword after shouldering his Slug-gun. He turned to watch the creature charge towards a building.
Then he saw the fool on it's head. "Who the blazesss isss that?"
He shook his head at the man who seemed to try and position himself to impale his sword into the beast's skull.
"That won't end well..." Sen mumured to himself as he stalked forwards, ready to freeze the 'dragon' in place after it slammed into the wall it was obviously headed for.

Dark-Eyes
Dark-Eyes smirked when his bullets hit their targets relatively well, but cursed the minute the man with a death wish jumped onto the lizard's head, blocking his clear shots. With his accuracy he could hit the giant lizard easily, but with the creature's random movements he might hit the idiot on its head. "Bloody hell..." he cursed aloud, raising his revolvers from their line of fire at its head. He was about to think of what it was that he could do to handle this, when suddenly the creature lowered its head and charged at the wall of the building he stood upon. "Shit!" he cursed yet again as he took a running leap off the building's roof. Twisting his body, he flipped upside down and pointed his guns down at the giant lizard's back and opened fire, once again loosing six shots. As the creature passed beneath him he righted himself and landed with a heavy thud, kneeling on one knee and stirring up a small cloud of dust.

(Sedaia)
Sedaia watched and shook her head, once again admiring the thin line between courage and stupidity. She did not know or care which one the wolf man was. But she did hear the footsteps of the guards, and in the case that one might actually recognize her, she decided to relocate a second time. She knew that there were other brave individuals that trail Guards to a crisis zone... and didn't want their flash-magic to capture her image.
There was a partially collapsed shop-stand whose proprietor had fled. She crept over to it, crouching low and moving swiftly. She was behind the stand in a flash, staring between some cracks between the boards of the rickety counter.
(Invader)
The wall the monster had rammed shuddered slightly as his head impacted. Whether or not the creature on its back was injured, the monster did not know, but it had been thrown free of his back. The sword that had temporarily swerved the monster had hit and then penetrated the thick scales. It had quickly hit the skull, and the metal had buckled for a spilt second then shifted away, unable to penetrate the immense thickness of the giant lizard's skull. The attempt had however left a gruesome tear across the animals already wounded head.
Blind in one eye, the creature was wroth. Dark-Eye's shots ripped through the creature's wings, leaving behind tears and neat, round holes that bled to add to what was already on the ground. The thing was favoring its un-blinded side, and was obviously badly wounded. But like any cornered animal, it was not ready to give up and die. It swung around, swinging its tail in a ten foot arc that would take out the legs of anything in it's reach.
The Guardsmen arrived, rounding the corner in a troop of twenty men. They did not hesitate, but keeping in formation they charged at the monster as it turned and faced them...
The beasts head snapped back, then forward in the manner that a snake strikes. A gargling hiss came from the back of its throat as it did so, and rather than trying to lay its teeth into the guards, it spat a huge column of hot, yellowish goo. It splashed over the guardsmen and stuck to their flesh, but for a few of the men on the edges who were able to leap out of the way. The men stuck fell on the ground writhing in pain as the acidic substance burned away their flesh. The monster then turned its head towards Sen and Dark Eyes who were in roughly the same area from the beast.

Sen stared at the large beast which had turned to him.
It just doesn't want to fall now, does it? This Ssss... ss.... where to aim, it's muzzle or it's feet?
Sen nodded to himself, coming up with the answer. He quickly dashed forward, jumping over the flailing tail that had tried to trip him. He hit the ground hard after jumping over the tail, as he rolled on his ankle. He hissed in slight pain as he lurched to the side to steady himself.
Then he open HIS jaws - almost in a mockery of the larger beast - and then proceeded to emit ice from his throat. He himself was unsure how his body managed to produce ice, but it was there, and it seemed to be fulfilling it's purpose at this moment.
The ice was slowly latching itself around the fee of the dragon. Hopefully it would get to the point at where the creature couldn't move it's legs... if he could hold out that long.

Kaar~ Landing hard on the ground Kaar stands up pn wobbled legs just to be flung back as a scaley tail thuds into his chest. Slamming back into a wall Kaar suddenly notices the massive pain in his arm as he sees it hanging limp by his side. Grabbing hold of it he braces himself and puts it back in place. The agony of putting his arm back causes him to drop back to his knees and he pulls out a dagger as his hand is in a small shadow by a crate.

Dark-Eyes
Having landed facing the lizard, Dark-Eyes did a no handed cartwheel over the swung tail. After having landed back on two feet Dark-Eyes jumped back out of the creature's range and began reloading his revolvers by hand. He noticed the guards show up, but did nothing to help them when the dragon turned on them. He simply watched coldly and without emotion as they melted and screamed in agony. After the creature turned on him he had finished reloading one of his revolvers, but the other had yet to be done. Instead of panicking he pointed his gun coldly at the lizard, while pointlessly staring the creature in the eyes. Upon pausing for but a second he fired once again at the creature's remaining eye, loosing three shots.

Watching from atop a nearby building, a red-orange half-cat stood, holding his halberd at his side for support. Val had arrived only a few minutes ago, and had not yet had a chance to help out.
As soon as the creature had loosed its breath on the soldiers, Val jumped from the top of the building toward the monster's back, spinning the halberd around so that its point was down, bracing for the imminent impact.

Jack
Upon hearing the monster's roar, Jack went wide eyed and ducked beneath the table instinctively. Something that loud HAD to be bigger then he was, and in his experiences in the wilds he knew that the bigger they sound the bigger their teeth are.
Cautiously, after everyone in the bar had either fled, hid, or rushed to meet the creature, he sneaked up to one of the windows that had no one gaping out of it and watched the fight go on. The wolf-man fought kind of like a wild one, while the lizard-man seemed more inclined to use -what Jack referred to as- human things, the big human with the other human things looked cool, but really scary though.
Normally Jack would have jumped right into battle, but the big lizard was too much for him to handle with his little claws... So he watched for a little while longer. He watched the stupid humans get melted, and he watched the big lizard get hurt really bad, he even saw the woman in black run around places, but he didn't care. Before long though he couldn't take it anymore, he jumped out of the window and ran down the street to where the fight was happening.
He waved his arms at the big lizard and spoke in the same tongue he would use for any lizard, hoping it would listen. "STOP!!!" he roared as loud as he could, "Big lizard! You run away now! I make the stupid humans not follow!" Albeit a little touched in the head according to human standards, Jack wasn't idiotic enough to trust the big lizard's actions right now and was ready to dodge any swipes it made at him.

((OOC: Stupid tests...)) Jumping out of the way of the large tail, Clathanis safely landed and sent a small prayer to the men who died. She noticed in the corner of her eye that the half wolf was injured and made a note to help with the pain as soon as this beast was down. She also heard a smaller roar but she wasn't sure where is was coming from.
Grabbing two arrows she sent one flying and then the other a few seconds after. One was aimed at the lizards eye and the other was aimed at a soft spot between the scales on his chest.

Ice gathered and froze around the winged lizard’s feet. It was stunned and surprised. It jerked one of its claws back at the cold, but it had hardened around the creature's other leg before it could move. The beast lost balance and began to fall...
The monster heard Jack's words and understood. It turned its head towards Jack just in time for the arrow Clathanis had aimed at its eye to zip in low and stick into its muzzle.
The first of Dark-Eye's shot's ripped through the protective scales around the monster's eye. The second hit the eye itself and plunged the great lizard into permanent darkness.
"They hunt with bee stings..." The creature hissed to Jack, the only one in the area who could understand it.
Clathanis' second arrow stuck the beast's chest as it was hitting the ground. It slid amazingly between two large plated scales, and there was a spurt of blood.
"...I am not alone. There are many eggs in a nest." The monster, hissed again, trying to spurt more acid along with its words, but only managing a tiny dribble.
The final attacks of Val and Dark Eyes came in at the same moment. The monster felt warm feet land upon its back as it skidded on the earth roughly. Lancing pain shot up and down its spine as the halberd bit through the soft area between its wings, it roared its final death cry, and then the last bullet from Dark Eyes killed it.
The fact that it was, decisively, dead didn't seem like a reason to the beast to stop moving. It thrashed wildly, throwing the cat man from its corpse and tearing up the road. It thrashed and jerked, and over a minute had passed before it lay still.
There was a spontaneous cheer from the remaining guardsmen, and from some of the people who had followed them to the scene. There were also some very relieved people poking their heads out from behind crates, or peering tentatively out of the factory windows.
Suddenly, flashes of light flooded the street way from many different angles. A small group of people had followed on the trail of the guardsmen. Some were gnomish, and carried strange blinking boxes. Others were dwarves, who were performing some of their unique magic to produce the same flashing lights as the gnomes. Either way, they seemed intent on pointing their flashing devices at everything in the area, especially the faces of the Monster Slayers.
(Sedaia)
Sedaia smiled as the beast collapsed onto the ground. As soon as the battle was done, she turned and slunk away, moving along the walls while others stared at the thrashing beast. She didn't want to be in the area of the factories right now. She hoped there were at least SOME members of her guild in the area to fill her in on the after math, but for now all she wanted to do was get back to the Shadow Den. She had some work to do... some research on a man named Black, and another man... named Dark Eyes.

Sen sighed as the beast finally stopped twitching. He needed a trophy, as nobody would believe him if he said he had helped kill a dragon. That might give him a better reputation and thus also give him better jobs...
He moved to a claw, and hacked off one of the large talons which had almost skewered him earlier. He gave a satisfactory hiss as he put it in a belt pouch for cleaning later. He turned and then was blinded by the flashes. Those hurt the eyes!
Sen decided that he didn't want too many pictures of him. fame was when others looked at you funny and everyone distances themselves from you. He wanted to be known, not famous.
With a lash of his tail and a guttural hissing grumble, Sen turned from the flashes and proceeded to stalk down the road. He wanted to stay in the city for now. Perhaps there were more incidents of this kind of thing...

Val stood up after being flung from the Dragon's back. He looked around at the many men and women who had worked together to kill the beast.
"Hmmmm" he wondered to himself. "I've never come across any of these inhabitants in the time I've been here. Perhaps one of them has the information for which I seek."
Suddenly blinded by the many flashes of light, Val decided that this might be a good way to get his name known in this city. He lingered around, talking to the gnomes and dwarves that questioned him. However, every now and then, the question of whether defeating the dragon was the right thing to do pushed its way into his mind. He batted it away each time, telling himself that he was protecting the people, and so it must be for the better.

Dark-Eyes
Dark-Eyes paused for a moment after the creature dropped. "Hrmph..." he grunted, quickly holstering his guns once again. Unfortunately for him, that moment was just a moment too long as one of the flashes captured his image. "God damn it!" he cursed through clenched teeth before darting down an alleyway and taking off. Part of him felt at ease now that the creature could no longer harm any innocents, but another part of him was cursing his good natured actions. He got himself spotted and, for him, that was not a good thing. 'Bloody reporters will likely try to pin this on me somehow...'[/b] he thought to himself grumbling, 'Great... More families with vendettas against me...'[/b] ...In his escape he fled towards his hideout... [/color]

Kaar~ As he saw the beast go down under the ravenous attacks of the many assembled here he decided not to leap through the shadow to the beast. As the flashes began all around the beast and pictures being taken of the so-called heroes he decided he best just get his sword and leave. Reaching his hand through the shadow he grabbed onto the side of the dragons face and pulled himself through the tight shadow pathway. As he came through he pulled himself higher and grabbed the hilt of his now slightly damaged sword. Grumbling he turned around just as a gnome snapped a picture of him.
