Faethaven has a newspaper. It is known as Insider City News, the Insider, or ICN. The government has an easy-going approach to the censorship when it applies to the Insider, allowing for a broad brange of articles
In this section, newspaper articles for the Insider will periodically be posted. Sometimes you will find no more than a recap of the current storylines, but the articles might also contain propaganda for the people of Faethaven, rumors, city announcements, job offers, and entertaining stories.
Though the Insider has its own reporters, it also publishes articles written and submitted by Faethaven's literate populace! You can submit articles for publication!
If your character is reading the newspaper, it is included in your post. Any out of character discussions or questions about the newspaper should be posted in Chat. You don't have to participate in the Newspaper, but if some people do it will be fun!
There are a few things to consider when submitting an article:
Guidelines
~Maximum length: 1 page on a Word program. It can be as short as a few lines.
~Must be written in the style of a newspaper article
~Must include a headline, and the name of the 'author' The author needn't be your character. It can be a fabricated NPC name. Ex. Imarr E. Porter

Maybe your character has a hand in the writing of the news. Perhaps you want to start a subplot of your own in an interesting way. Maybe you've written a short story based in Faethaven that you'd like to share. Perhaps you just plain like writing articles, or want to help recap the story. All of these are good reasons to submit an article to the Insider. Send it to either Sedaia or Dark-Eyes, and you may find it posted in a fancy newspaper format...
