There is one main building of worship in Faethaven; a gigantic chapel Cathedral where people go to pay their homage to the trinity Goddesses of Fae, Faet, and Faeth.
The religion of Faethaven is really quite basic. The three sister goddesses watch over all thing having to do with the world.
Fae is the Goddess of magic, who is withdrawn and indifferent to the world as long as magic is upheld.
Faet is the Goddess who takes a hand in the everyday lives of her worshippers, affecting what happens and how events play out.
Faeth is the Goddess holding sway over the afterlife, and if you have faith in her, she will take you to the heavens of the Trinity where the Old Civilization still stands in it's glory.
You walk up a set of ornate stone stairs into a gigantic circular room that could hold most of Faethaven's population if the situation demanded. At the center of this room is a great statue or all three goddesses, each standing so that as you circle the room a different one is facing outward. There is a domed ceiling on the chapel, and it is covered in large stained glass windows built by the gnomes with old technology.
There are many doors leading off the main room, but these are generally private halls for the priests and priestesses, and rooms where a person might take private council with a person of divinity.
Ceremonies are held at morning noon and night. They include candle rituals, chants and magical incantations, filling the chapel with an air of mystique and serenity. There are rarely any ceremonies that include sermons. Between ceremonies, the chapel is a good place to find peace and quiet, or hold a whispered conversation with the assurance that no one is listening...
