Name: Annabelle Eyton
Age: 18
Race: centaur
Weapons: Being a centaur, Anna always considered her body to be a type of weapon. Through her years, however, Anna was taught how to use a spear (not extremely exciting, but has helped her more than once).
Abilities: Annabelle has no magical abilities. She never felt that she wanted them, and never yearned for them. The only abilities she ever really had was the ability to defend herself with her spear and hooves.
Items: Annabelle always wears a silver locket around her neck which contains a small picture of her mother. She is usually carrying around a messenger style bag. The human backpacks were never comfortable on her and wearing a form of saddle bag on the horse part of her just seemed awkward. In this bag, she would carry anything she would really need if she went somewhere: money, what she bought with money, etc. Her spear was always strapped to her back, just in case.
Appearance: Well, it would be nice to say that Anna is only 120 lbs, but being half horse puts on a few extra pounds, or a few hundred. To the top of her head, Anna is 6 feet 6 inches. Her build would be hard to describe. She isn’t extremely muscular, but she’s by no means a slight looking centaur, mostly because she is part-horse. If she had been a full human female, she would have had an average build. Her hair is a deep brown, giving the horse part of her a deep chestnut tinge to her fur...hair. Her eyes are a boring shade of brown, it’s the sparkle in her eye when she’s cheerful that make her eyes look anything more than ordinary.
Personality: Always the passive one, Annabelle would much rather stand by and watch instead of take part. Of course, being a centaur, it never seems as if Annabelle was shy at all.
History: Annabelle doesn’t know much of her own history, other that she was born and raised within the walls of Faethaven and has never gone anywhere else. Her mother died of an illness when she was only five years old, and ever since then she wore a locket with her mother’s picture held within. She had never known her father, and so Anna was sent to live with her aunt and uncle, her mother’s sister and brother-in-law.
Her aunt and uncle completely doted on Annabelle, sheltering her from the history of the world, and sheltering her from any horrors the world may hold today. That may be the reason she can’t remember much of her past. There wasn’t anything in it.
Since she was sheltered, Anna never really had a job outside of the house. She often found herself watching others from a window in her house, and she used her imagination to create a life for other people. Her aunt and uncle knew Anna couldn’t be defenceless in the world, and so her uncle taught her simple self-defence with the use of a spear. Of course, being a centaur comes in handy as well, so even if she hadn’t been taught to use a spear, Anna wouldn’t have been utterly helpless.
As much as her guardians would have wanted to shelter Annabelle from everything, there were times in her life when she had to use her spear to good use. They were petty things really: a foolish human tried to steal from her messenger bag (but her hooves did more work than her spear); and a creature, she was never really sure what it was, tried to attack her from behind one night on her way home. Now, if you were to ask her why a small creature would try to take down a centaur, Anna wouldn’t have an answer for you.
