Name: Gistina Harmorell
Age: 17
Race: Satyr
Weapons: Gistina is a delicate lady, but has learned basic self defense. She can use her little horns and hooves, and also can use fans to defend, just not for very long. She depends on others to keep her out of trouble. These people are most often admirers. This has worked well for her so far. The one thing she does have is knowledge of alchemical substances. She could poison someone, just she has never wanted to. Mostly she makes potions and powders that have different interesting effects on those who would be stubborn with her.
Abilities: Gistina is a tradesperson and even if she seems foolish and naïve she is good at cutting deals. She can run very, very fast when she needs to, her hooves strike sparks on the ground. She is usually running away from trouble though, or getting to a hiding place.
Items: Gistina has many different fans but she only ever has two on her at a time and some of them can be used as weapons, but not usually. Gistina sometimes takes her purse along with her and the purse is very big. It has a few hidden pockets where she carries poisons, potions, and powders that she makes herself on her spare time. She doesn’t often have need for them. But she has substances that make bright lights, ones that make smoke and ones that stop bleeding. Gistina also has matches and cosmetics in her bag.
Appearance: Gistina is a very pretty little satyr girl. She has small ivory colored hooves and soft sable fur up her legs. Her tail is like a deer’s and has a snowy white tip. Above the waist she is a perfect lady. Though much smaller than a human she is beautiful. Her face is fine-boned and soft. She has large brown, almond shaped eyes. Her hair is the same color as the hair on her legs, and is cut to her shoulders; it is very curly. At her hairline are two delicate ivory horns. Her ears are higher on her head and pointed, and are covered by a thin layer of fur. Gistina wears very expensive clothing. It is made of velvet and silk, or more common fabrics decorated with the finest dye. Her clothes are often embroidered and covered in frills. Almost always is she in a flowing, fancy dress. She has a good deal of jewelry. She likes gold better than silver, and wears many jangling earrings and intricate necklaces. She wears many bracelets on her smooth, pale wrists. She also likes to wear decorative sun hats with flowers and ribbons on them. She always carries fancy fabric fans made from the most sought after materials with the most popular designs.
Personality: Sweet, Vain, Cutesy, Excitable, and much more shrewd than she seems.
History: Gistina was born to a very rich merchant family. Her parents were Josef and Katerin Harmorell, and she has six older brothers, Mikal, Alikie, Bamph, Hallor, Berit and Moris, to list them oldest to youngest. Her parents decreed even before her birth that their wealth would only be split between the three eldest sons; they wanted the wealth they spread to be somewhat substantial. Hallor, Berit, Moris and Gistina would only receive a pittance of their parents wealth- mostly just sentimental objects.
Gistina’s parents died young. Her mother passed away, and it was said that her father pined himself to death. The trade business and all of her parents properties were given to Alikie, who had a good head for business, and their actual monetary wealth was split between Mikal and Bamph.
Mikal, who was Gistina’s least favorite brother, fancied himself a artist, and lives in a nice house in the city and sculpts. Gistina’s parents left a note in their will that Alikie was to take care of her, so she continued to live in his house. Bamph met a satyr lady in the woods, took a fancy to her wild ways, and gave his portion of wealth to Hallor, Berit and Moris. Hallor tried to set up his own business and failed, and now lives as a normal working man. He comes to visit Gistina and Alikie from time to time. Berit spent his money on drinking and on women of low reputation, and is something of a black sheep to the family, always asking around for money. Mikal bought himself a small house and got a good job as a clerk, living a well-to-do life.
Gistina was raised as a proper lady, and so takes care of her brother’s house. Her brother has now amassed a good deal of wealth himself. Gistina directs his servants in the cooking and cleaning, and knows how to administer a good home. She is constantly husband seeking- she wants an advantageous marriage. Though it is not customary for all people of Faethaven, Alikie still plans to pay his sister a dowry. Her hand is thus much sought after by upperclassmen- even some of the wrong breed! -in Faethaven. Lately she has been courted by a Rich satyr named Franses Shuaque. Franses works for one of Faethaven’s higher nobles, an old fellow named Tallo Curier, as an overseer of his interests. Gistina hasn’t yet made an opinion of Franses.
